About Us
Founded by Brian Davis and Paul Taddonio, Community Disposal Service ("CDS") provides residential, commercial, and industrial solid waste removal services in Genesee, Oakland, Lapeer, Livingston, Shiawassee, and Saginaw counties. With a combined 75 years of industry experience, in both the private and public sector, Brian and Paul have built and managed waste removal businesses with reputations of excellence in service, integrity and pricing.
In 2000, after years working for public waste companies, Paul and Brian identified the need for local and independent waste haulers to provide better service at affordable prices, and founded Taddonio Disposal. After starting with one truck, a handful of residential customers and a handful of dumpsters, Taddonio Disposal grew to service over 15,000 residential, commerical and industrial customers. As a single father of two girls growing up in diapers in a garbage truck, Paul along with Brian, decided to divest the company in order to spend more time with family.
In 2015, after hearing from former customers, Paul and Brian again identified the need for local and independant waste haulers to provide better service at affordable prices, and founded Community Disposal Service. Since its inception, Community Disposal Service has added thousands of customers based on its founding priciples of excellence in service, integrity and pricing.
As an independent local company, the CDS management team, along with a staff of experienced employees, emphasizes a commitment to outstanding service at affordable rates. Our customers have come to expect timely, courteous, and efficient service. At CDS, every customer, big or small, business or individual, is our #1 priority.
"To create and maintain an environment where our employees strive to fulfill our commitment to the operating values of safety, integrity, customer service and compliance as the foundations of our business."
