Residential Yard Waste Service

Community Disposal Service residential customers love our Yard Waste Service!

With most haulers you have to pay a premium for Yard Waste service regardless of whether you utilize the service or not. Community Disposal Service only charges for what Yard Waste you put out at the curb on a per bag or container basis between the dates of April 1st through November 30th!

Helpful hints for Yard Waste season:
  • Use only paper Yard Waste bags (available at local lawn, garden and hardware stores) OR in 32 gallon cans clearly marked "Yard Waste" or "Compost". During colder weather, yard waste bags are easier as compost may freeze in cans.
  • Yard Waste put at the curb in plastic bags is prohibited and can not be collected.
Acceptable Yard Waste material:
  • Brush (2" in diameter or less) can be collected in bags or properly marked personal containers or in less than 4’ long bundles.
  • Trimmings / Branches between 2" – 6" in diameter will be collected provided they are bundled and tied. Bundles should be 4 feet maximum in length and a maximum of 60 pounds each.
  • Grass and leaves will be collected in bags or properly marked personal containers.

** Please place all clearly marked Yard Waste containers and bags at the curb and we’ll take care of the rest! **
